The cerebral cortex visual reconstruction system delivers electrical stimulation directly to the visual cortex of the brain, serving as an ultimate visual restoration solution that completely bypasses the retina and optic nerve. It captures and encodes images via an external camera, transmits the signals wirelessly to intracranially implanted electrodes, and stimulates the cerebral cortex to generate phosphene perception.
